Terms of service

Bttr is a product of Red Tail Den LLC, a company formed in Florida, United States, with its address at 882 E State Road 44, Wildwood, FL 34785. You can find it at redtailden.com.

Creating an account means you accept these terms. If you disagree with any part, do not use the service.

Bttr prepares photos for publishing. In “Photo to sell” you choose your original photos and, if you want, add the product details you enter, without changing the photo. In “Creative photo” Bttr transforms the photo with a creative finish, and area retouching changes only the part you mark. Creations and retouches are made by an artificial intelligence model, so the result is an interpretation, not a measurement.

Your original photo is never altered or replaced. You can always go back to it.

You need to be over 18 and give real details. You are responsible for your password and for what happens from your account. If you think someone got in, write to info@redtailden.com from the account's email: we close every open session and help you set a new password.

An account is for one person. Do not share it or resell it.

The trial lasts 15 days and includes 5 creations. If you use all 5 sooner, you can keep creating until day 15 with the creations from a pack. When the 15 days are up, the trial ends. Creating with your own OpenAI or FAL key is not part of the trial: it requires the Your own API plan, active or in its trial period.

We do not ask for a card to start. When the trial ends the service pauses until you activate a plan; your photos and your account stay where they are.

There are two monthly plans, depending on who covers the AI usage: one where you connect your own key and pay your provider directly, and one where Bttr supplies the AI and includes it in the monthly price. You can also buy packs of additional creations.

The prices that apply are always the ones shown in the app before you confirm payment. Those are the ones that govern.

Payments are processed by Stripe. The subscription renews monthly until you cancel. Purchases made inside the iPhone app are processed by Apple and are also subject to Apple's terms. The Android app does not sell plans or packs: it uses the plan and creations your account already has.

Changing plans on the web. If you already pay for a plan on the web and choose the other one, the change does not open a payment page: we first ask you to confirm it and, if we can calculate it at that moment, we show you the amount. When you confirm, the plan changes right away and the prorated difference between the two plans until your next renewal is charged to your saved card immediately. If that difference is less than Stripe's minimum charge, it is not charged to your card at that moment: it is added to your next plan charge, and the confirmation tells you so beforehand. In that case, if the change is to BTTR Managed, its included creations do not arrive at that moment: they come with that next charge, when your plan renews. If the new plan costs less, nothing is charged and the difference in your favor is deducted from your next plan charges. Later renewals are charged at the new plan's price.

If your card declines that charge (or your bank asks you to confirm it), the plan does not change: you keep your previous plan and its creations, and you can keep using it. The change waits for a few hours: up to 23, or less if your next renewal comes first. In Settings, on the web, we tell you so with a button to pay it. We also let you know by email. If the card declined it, the button is «Update card and pay»: you add another card, which is also used for your next plan charges, the difference is charged and the change applies at that moment. If your bank asks you to confirm the charge (a check such as 3D Secure), the button is «Confirm with your bank»: it opens Stripe's secure page for that invoice, where you confirm it. As soon as it is confirmed, your account catches up on its own, with nothing else to do in Bttr. If the bank does not accept the charge even with the new card, we offer to pay it on that same secure page. If the change was to BTTR Managed and you had not yet received that period's included creations, you receive them then, only once. If you do not pay it within that time, the change is discarded and nothing is charged: you can try again whenever you want. If what fails is a renewal charge, the plan is pending payment and gives you no creations until it is charged; we let you know by email and you sort it out with the same buttons. While your web plan is still in its trial period (before its first charge), changing plans charges nothing; when the trial ends, the price of the plan you have then is charged. The included creations of the BTTR Managed plan are given once per period: if you switch it for Your own API, you lose the ones you have left, and if you go back to it before your next renewal, the difference is charged but no new ones are given until that renewal.

Auto-recharge. When you buy a pack on the web, the card is saved with Stripe for future charges. Auto-recharge starts off. If you turn it on in Settings, on the web, then whenever creating on the web leaves you with the number of creations you chose (2, 3, or 5) or fewer, Bttr charges that card for the pack you chose, without asking you to confirm. It keeps doing so until you turn it off, which you can do at any time from the same place.

If we change a price, we tell you before it applies to your next renewal.

Cancel whenever you want — no calls, no forms. A plan paid through Apple is canceled from your Apple account subscriptions. One paid on the web, for now, by writing to info@redtailden.com from the account's email (we explain it in Support). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for: you keep access until that date.

Creation packs are a one-time purchase and do not expire while your account exists. Their creations are used with Bttr-managed AI, after the ones included in your trial or plan, and only while you have an active trial or plan. If the trial or plan ends, the balance is kept for when you activate a plan.

If something went wrong with a charge, write to info@redtailden.com and we will look at it case by case.

You do. The ones you upload and the ones Bttr generates from them. You can use them anywhere, including commercially.

You give us only the technical permission needed to process them and show them to you. We do not train models on them, we do not sell them, we do not publish them, and we do not hand them over to anyone, except to the AI provider that processes them to give you the result. Customer accounts create with FAL (Bttr-managed AI) or with their own OpenAI or FAL key; creating with ChatGPT exists only on accounts Red Tail Den turns on by hand for internal use and testing. We explain it in the privacy policy (section 03).

You are responsible for having the right to what you upload. Do not upload photos of other people without their permission, or protected material that is not yours.

Do not use Bttr to:

• Misrepresent the real condition of a product you are selling.
• Create images of people without their consent.
• Sexual, violent, or illegal material.
• Impersonate a person or a brand.
• Automate the service at scale or resell it without a prior agreement.

If a result looks offensive, sexual, violent, or misleading to you, report it with “Report this result” on the result screen. With the reason and details you send us, we review the report, detect content that breaks these rules, and maintain the security of the service.

We do what is reasonable to keep the service up, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. There can be maintenance, failures at an AI provider, or outages outside our control.

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid in the previous 12 months.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you unless the breach is serious or illegal. If we close your account for reasons not attributable to you, we refund the unused part of your subscription.

If they change, you will see it here with the update date at the top. If the change affects you materially, we email you before it applies.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, where Red Tail Den LLC is formed. If the law of your country of residence gives you consumer rights that cannot be waived, those rights remain intact.
